Metropolitan District Funds as may at the time be avail-
able.

(d) The Chief Sanitary Engineer of the Metropolitan
District shall annually, on or before the first day of March
in each and every year, prepare and file in the office of the
Commissioners a report on the physical plant and equip-
ment of the District, showing the work of his Department
during the preceding year, what is proposed to be done in
the District during the current year and, in general, such
statistical and financial matters in connection with the
District as may be of interest to the Commissioners and
to the taxpayers.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 722.
(Senate Bill 546)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
section (43) of Section 33 of Article 101 of the Annotat-
ed Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Work-
men's Compensation, " sub-title "Application of Article:
Extra-Hazardous Employments, " making salesmen, res-
idents of the State, employed by persons doing business
within the State eligible for compensation.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (43) of Section 33 of Article 101 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title
"Workmen's Compensation, " sub-title "Application of Ar-
ticle: Extra-Hazardous Employments, " be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

33.

(43). All salesmen including sales managers employed
to solicit orders from customers outside of the establish-
ment for which they are employed, who are citizens or res-
idents of this State, employed by a person, firm or cor-
poration doing business within this State, whether
the injury for which compensation is asked was
sustained within this State or elsewhere. Provided,
however, if an employee or the dependents of an employee
