SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 713.
(Senate Bill 330)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 466 and 468 of Article 4 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1939 Ed. ), title
"Baltimore City, " sub-title "Register of Wills, " and to,
enact in lieu thereof a new Section, to be known as Sec-
tion 466 and to follow immediately after Section 465'of
said Article, relating to the bond of said Register of
Wills.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 466 and 468 of Article 4 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland (1938 Ed. ), title "Baltimore
City, " sub-title "Register of Wills, " be and the same are
hereby repealed, and that a new Section be and it is hereby
enacted in lieu thereof, said new Section to be known as
Section 466, to follow immediately after Section 465 of
said Article, and to read as follows:
466. Beginning with November 5, 1946, the Register of
Wills of Baltimore City, before he acts as such, shall give
bond to the State of Maryland in the penal sum of thirty
thousand dollars, with security or securities to be
approved by the judges of the Orphans' Court for said
City, and with condition that he faithfully perform the
duties of his office and account for all funds received un-
der color of his office. Such bond shall be recorded among
the proceedings of the Orphans' Court of Baltimore City
and thereafter filed with the State Comptroller. The
Register of Wills of Baltimore City shall give a new Bond
in like manner on or before the first day of December of
the second year following his qualification in office.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1, 1945.
