County Auditor as Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners
of Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 139 of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County",
sub-title "County Commissioners", be, and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

139. The President of the Board of County Commissioners
may sign all deeds or leases for property sold or otherwise
alienated by the county, and annex or cause to be annexed
thereto the seal of the County Commissioners. The Secretary
to the Board of County Commissioners shall whenever neces-
sary attest all signatures and perform such other clerical
duties as the County Commissioners of Baltimore County may
assign to him, including such duties of the Chief Clerk to the
Board of County Commissioners, as the County Commissioners
of Baltimore County may find can be more conveniently or
appropriately performed by the Secretary to the Board.

SEC. 2. And be it -further enacted, That Section 234 of
Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Baltimore County", sub-title "Fire Depart-
ment", be, and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

234. The President and Secretary of the Board of County
Commissioners of Baltimore County shall be the President
and Secretary respectively of said Examining Board. The
Secretary shall keep a full and correct record of its pro-
ceedings and of the list prepared by it, which shall be open
to public inspection and perform such other duties as may be
required of him by said Board of Examiners.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That Section 525 of
Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Baltimore County", sub-title "Police and
Police Stations", be, and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

525. The President and Secretary of the Board of County
Commissioners of Baltimore County shall be the President
and Secretary respectively of said Examining Board. The
Secretary shall keep a full and correct record of its pro-
ceedings and of the list prepared by it, which shall be open
