tion 22 of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1943 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Admin-
istration—Registration—Titling", said new sub-section to be
known as Sub-section (c), to follow immediately after Sub-
section (b) of said section and to read as follows:
22. '
(c) If the body design of any vehicle is changed from that
set forth in the original title and registration, such fact shall
be immediately communicated to the Department of Motor
Vehicles, and the owner of any such vehicle shall apply for
a new title and registration applicable to the changed descrip-
tion of such vehicle.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

(House Bill 395)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
154A of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Motor Vehicles", sub-
heading "Registration of Motor Vehicles and Operators", as
said section was enacted by Chapter 990 of the Acts of 1943,
relating to the applicability to certain counties of the pro-
visions for the registration of certain motor vehicles and for
the issuance of metal markers by County Treasurers.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 154A of Article 56 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Motor
Vehicles", sub-heading "Registration of Motor Vehicles and
Operators", as said section was enacted by Chapter 990 of the
Acts of 1943, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, so as to read as follows:
154A. The County Treasurer of each County in this State,
shall act as the agent of the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles
in the registration of motor vehicles of the Class A passenger
or pleasure type and the issuance of metal plates or markers,
as provided in Section 154 of this Article, in like manner as if
application had been made at the office of the Commissioner of
