Supplement), title "Workmen's Compensation, " sub-title
"State Accident Fund, " be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, and shall be codified and
known as Section 68 and to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 67, as hereinbefore numbered by this Act, and to read
as follows:
68. There shall be a "State Accident Fund, " for the
purpose of insuring employers against liability under this
Article and to their employees and their dependents the
payment of the compensation specified in this Article. Such
Fund shall consist of all premiums or taxes received and
paid into the Fund and of property and securities acquired
and interest earned through the use of moneys belonging
to the Fund, Said Fund shall be applicable to the payment
of losses sustained on account of insurance and to the pay-
ment of expenses in the manner provided in this Article.
Within ninety days after the close of each fiscal year of
the State Accident Fund, the Commissioners thereof shall
ascertain the expense incurred in conducting and adminis-
tering the State Accident Fund during said fiscal year, and
shall authorize in the same manner as other disbursements
from the State Accident Fund are authorized, the amount
thereof to be transferred from said Fund by the Treasurer
to the State Treasury to reimburse the State for the moneys
so appropriated and expended in conducting and adminis-
tering the State Accident Fund for such fiscal year.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That Sections 16A
to 26, inclusive, and Sections 28 and 29 of said Article 101
(1939 Edition and 1943 Supplement), title "Workmen's
Compensation, " sub-title "State Accident Fund, " be and
they are hereby transferred to follow immediately after
Section 68 as hereinbefore numbered by this Act and shall
be codified and known, respectively, as Sections 69 to 81,
inclusive, under sub-title "State Accident Fund. "
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That Section 73 of
said Article 101, sub-title "Miscellaneous, " be and it is
hereby transferred and shall be codified and known as
Section 82, under sub-title "State Accident Fund, " and
shall follow immediately after Section 81 of said Article.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That the transfer,
renumbering and recodification of the several sections in
said Article 101, as provided by this Act,, shall not change,
impair or affect the existence, tenor, validity and applica-
tion of said sections, or any of them, except as specifically
herein provided.
