CHAPTER 69.
(Senate Bill 57)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
716G and 716K of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edi-
tion), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Judges of the Peo-
ple's Court", as said sections were enacted by Chapter 969
of the Acts of 1943, increasing the fees to be paid in certain
actions or proceedings in the People's Court and correcting
an error.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 716G and 716K of Article 4 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter
(1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Judges of
the People's Court", as said sections were enacted by Chapter
969 of the Acts of 1943, be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

716G. Subject to the provisions of Section 716H, before
any of the following acts or services shall be performed in
connection with any action or proceeding in the People's Court,
there shall be paid to the Chief Constable of the People's Court
for the use of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore City
the following fees and costs:

For, filing actions ex-contractu and ex-delicto.. $1. 00
For summoning each additional defendant...... 50

For re-issue................................ . 50

For trial.................................. . 50

For summoning each witness................ . 25

For copy of judgment....................... . 15

For issuing writ of. fi. fa..................... 1. 00

For issuing writ of fi. fa. on condemnation, in-
itial costs.............................. 1. 00

For issuing writ of sci. fa..................... 1. 00

For issuing writ of venditioni-exponas......... 1. 00

For issuing writ of supersedeas.............. 1. 00

For oath or affidavit, probate account......... . 20

For confessed judgment..................... 1. 00

For writ of attachment (filing).............. 1. 00

For writ of attachment (each additional garni-
shee)................................... 25

For attachment on execution (issue)......... 1. 00

For writ of attachment against non-resident

debtor................................. 1. 00

For each additional defendant................ . 50
