of time at the location applied for, or has been actually engaged
in the retail drug business for a period of not less than three
years. In Carroll County no such license shall be issued for
any place of business located outside of the corporate limits of
Westminster, the County Seat, and in Talbot County no such
license shall be issued except to grocery stores, drug stores, in-
corporated clubs, restaurants and hotels who have been doing
business in Talbot County for more than one year prior to the
date of the application for such license, and such a license may
also be issued in the City of Annapolis upon the approval of
and for such fee as may be fixed by the Mayor, Counsellor and
Aldermen of the City of Annapolis, and in Cecil and Kent Coun-
ties no such license shall be issued except to retail druggists
and grocers who have conducted such business at least one
year prior to application for such license.

The hours during which the privileges conferred by such li-
cense may be exercised shall be in Baltimore City, Baltimore,
Calvert, Charles, Howard, Washington and Prince George's
Counties from 6 A. M. to 12 o'clock midnight; in Carroll Coun-
ty from 8 A. M. to 9 P. M. and in Cecil and Kent Counties from
6 A. M. to 11 P. M., but no holder of such license shall be per-
mitted to make any sale on Sunday or on any day of any
General, Special or Primary Election. In the City of Annap-
olis the hours shall be fixed by the Mayor, the Counsellor and
Aldermen of the City of Annapolis. In Talbot County the hours
shall be from 8 A. M. to 12 o'clock midnight.

D. (Beer, Wine and Liquor License, Class D (On Sale). )
Taverns in Baltimore City, North Beach, Chesapeake Beach
and in Baltimore and Howard Counties. In Baltimore City
and in Baltimore, Calvert and Howard Counties, the Clerk of
the Court of Common Pleas of said City, if the place of busi-
ness is located in said City, or the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for said Counties, if the place of business is located in either
of said Counties, shall be authorized to issue beer, wine and
liquor licenses, Class D, which shall authorize the holder
thereof to keep for sale and sell all alcoholic beverages at retail
at the place therein described for consumption on the premises
or elsewhere, provided that no license shall be issued for any
place in Calvert County lying without the corporate limits of
the towns of North Beach and Chesapeake Beach respectively.
The annual fee for such license shall be Five Hundred Dollars
($500. 00) in Baltimore City; Four Hundred Dollars ($400. 00)
in Baltimore and Howard Counties; and in the towns of North
Beach and Chesapeake Beach, and shall be payable to the
said Clerk before any license is issued, for distribution as here-
inafter provided. No such license shall be issued for any drug
store.
