hours of 6 A. M. and 1 A. M., except in the Fourth. District
where the opening hour for the sale of beer on Sunday shall
be 1 P. M.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety and having
been passed upon by yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of
the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

(House Bill 245)

AN ACT to repeal Section 63 of Article 9. 9 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, as amended by Chapter 708, Section 63 of
the Acts of 1943, title "Birds, Game and Inland Water
Fish", sub-title "Wild Water Fowl Refuge"; and providing
that the Chairman of the Game and Inland Fish Commission
and the State Game Warden shall give to the Fish and
Wild Fowl Service of the U. S. Department of the Interior,
proper notice of the cancellation of the lease provided for
in said Section-63 of Article 99,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 63 of Article 99 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, as amended by Chapter 708, Section 63 of the Acts
of 1943, title "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish", sub-title
"Wild Water Fowl Refuge", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Chairman of the
Game and Inland Fish Commission and the State Game War-
den be and they are hereby directed and authorized to give
proper notice to the Fish and Wild Fowl Service of the United
States, that the lease heretofore entered into between them
shall be cancelled and terminated one year from the date
that this Act becomes effective.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.
