WHEREAS, the provisions of Sections 287, 288, 289, 290, 291
and 29; 2 of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), are covered by provisions of uniform
County-wide application and are confusing, therefore

SECTION 1. Be It enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 287, 288, 289, 290, 291 and 292 of Article
3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Baltimore County", sub-title "Franklin", be and
the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1st, 1945.

Approved March 29, 1945.

CHAPTER 481.
(House Bill 196)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, paragraph
A of Section 6 of Article 2B of the 1943 Supplement to the
Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Alcoholic Beverages",
sub-title "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses", relating to the
fees and general requirements for Class A "Off Sale", Beer,
Wine and Liquor Licenses, and increasing the fees for such
licenses in Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That paragraph A of Section 6 of Article 2B of the 1943
Supplement to the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Alco-
holic Beverages", sub-title "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses",
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

A. (Beer, Wine and Liquor License, Class A (Off Sale). )
Such a license shall be issued by the Clerk of the Circuit Court
of the County in which the place of business is located, or by
the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas for Baltimore City, if
the place of business is located in said city, and shall authorize
the holder thereof to keep for. sale and to sell all alcoholic
beverages at retail, in any quantity, at the place therein de-
scribed, and to deliver the same in sealed package or container
which package or container shall not be opened nor its con-
tents consumed on the premises where sold. The annual fee
for such a license shall be Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars
