issued and outstanding hereunder as the same becomes due and
payable, and also, in addition thereto, the County Commis-
sioners shall annually levy a tax upon the assessable property
of said County sufficient to pay and retire all of said bonds a&
they shall mature.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the bonds authorized
hereunder are hereby specifically exempted from all of the
provisions of Sections 35 and 36 of Article 31 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition).

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety and having
been passed upon by yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of
the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 465.
(House Bill 231)

AN ACT to incorporate the Town of Landover Hills, in
Prince George's County, Maryland, to provide for the govern-
ment thereof, for the construction of permanent street im-
provements, payment and assessment of the cost thereof
against abutting properties, and to provide for a referendum
vote of the citizens thereof to determine whether or not this
Act shall become effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the citizens of the area within the boundaries here-
inafter described in Prince George's County, Maryland, be,
and they are hereby created a body corporate by the name of
Mayor and Town Council of Landover Hills, and by said name
shall have perpetual succession, sue and be sued, have and use
a common seal, and purchase, hold, use, lease and dispose of
real, personal and leased property for the benefit of the town.

Section 2. The boundaries of said town shall be as follows:
Being all of those tracts of land comprising Sections
Two (2), Three (3), Four (4), and Five (5), of the sub-
division known as Landover Hills, Prince George's County,
Maryland, as per plat thereof duly recorded among the
Plat Records of said county as follows:
