CHAPTER 371.

(House Bill 79)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 482
of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Health", sub-title "Hairdressers and Beauty
Culturists", relating to the bond of the Secretary of the State
Board of Hairdressers and Beauty Culturists.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 482 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Health", sub-title "Hair-
dressers and Beauty Culturists", be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

482. (Secretary. Bond Required. ) The Secretary of said
Board shall annually give a corporate surety bond, payable to
the State of Maryland, in such penal sum as the State Comp-
troller may prescribe, with condition that he or she faithfully
perform the duties of said office and account for all funds
received under color of said office. Such bond shall be de-
posited with the State Comptroller and the premium thereof
shall be part of the expenses of said Board.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
108 of Article 41 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Governor — Executive and Administrative
Departments", sub-title "State Librarian", relating to the
bond of the State Librarian.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 108 of Article 41 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Governor—Executive and
Administrative Departments", sub-title "State Librarian", be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
