Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washington County, "
sub-title "Orphans' Court, " relating to the levy of a
sufficient sum to pay the compensation of the judges
of the Orphans' Court of Washington County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 689 of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washington
County, " sub-title "Orphans' Court, " be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read as
follows:
689. The County Commissioners of said county shall
levy annually such sum as they may estimate will be suffi-
cient to pay the Judges of the Orphans' Court for the next
ensuing year; and it shall be the duty of the Register of
Wills to certify monthly to the County Commissioners of
the county the number of days each of said Judges has
attended said Court during the month, and the Tax Collec-
tor shall pay to each of said Judges the amount prescribed
by Section 688 for each of said day's attendance so certi-
fied by the Register of Wills.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
588 of the Prince George's County Code (1943 Edition—
being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Prince George's County, " sub-title
"Fairmount Heights, " eliminating the provisions as to
tax sales for non-payment of municipal taxes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted 'by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 588 of the Prince George's County Code
(1943 Edition—being Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's County, "
sub-title "Fairmount Heights, " be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
