HERBERT R., O'CONOR, GOVERNOR. 25

Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Motor
Vehicles", sub-title "Administration—Registration—Titling",
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

11. (c) The Commissioner and such officers of the Depart-
ment as he may designate are hereby authorized to prepare
under the seal of the Department and deliver upon request
a copy of any public record of the Department for which a fee
of twenty-five (25) cents shall be charged and a certified copy
of any such record for which a fee of fifty (50) cents shall be
charged, and every such certified copy shall be admissible in
any proceeding in any court in like manner as the original
thereof.

But no charge shall be made for any record required or re-
quested by any court or State department. All fees received
from such source shall be paid by said Department into the
State Treasury as are other funds received.

SEC. 2. And lye it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 32.
(House Bill 26)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 45
of Article 88B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943
Supplement), title "State Police", sub-title "Statistical Bu-
reau", relating to furnishing copies of certain accident re-
ports.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 45 of Article 88B of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "State Police", sub-title
"Statistical Bureau", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

45. The Superintendent of State Police is directed to make
available to the executive officer of any agency of the State
or sub-division thereof, for the purpose of study, such files,
records, and reports as he has which relate to traffic accidents
or their causes; and the executive officers of such agencies
are directed to extend the same facilities to the Statistical
