244 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 288

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 286, 287 and 288 of Article 14 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Howard County", sub-title "Bicycles on Sidewalks", be and
they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

Approved March 16, 1945.

CHAPTER 287.
(House Bill 480)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 289, 290 and 291 of Article 14 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Howard County", sub-title "Schools".

WHEREAS, the provisions of the above sections relating to a
bond issue are obsolete and no longer applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 289, 290 and 291 of Article 14 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Howard County", sub-title "Schools", be and the same are
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

Approved March 16, 1945.

CHAPTER 288.
(House Bill 481)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 236, 237, 238, 239 and 240 of
Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Howard County", sub-title "Rail-
roads".

WHEREAS, the above provisions relating to railroads are
obsolete and no longer applicable; therefore
