CHAPTER 240.
(Senate Bill 396)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 1055-1062 of the Prince
George's County Code '(1943 Edition—being Article 17
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Prince George's County, " sub-title "Mt. Rainier, " sub-
heading "Water and Sewerage System, " said sections
authorizing the Town of Mt. Rainier to construct a
water and sewerage system.

WHEREAS, the provisions of these sections have been
made unnecessary by the creation of the Washington Sub-
urban Sanitary District; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 1055-1062 of the Prince George's County
Code (1943 Edition—being Article 17 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's
County, " sub-title "Mt. Rainier, " sub-heading "Water and
Sewerage System, " be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.
