title "Plumbing", said new section to be known as Section
325A, to follow immediately after Section 325 of said Article,
providing for the vesting in the County Commissioners of
Baltimore County of jurisdiction over persons, firms and
corporations desiring to perform plumbing work or engage
in the plumbing trade or business in Baltimore County,
authorizing the County Commissioners of Baltimore County
to make rules and regulations and fix fees governing the
entrance into the plumbing trade or business in Baltimore
County and its conduct therein, and providing for the
issuance of certificates by the Chief Engineer of the Metro-
politan District.

This measure, proposing regulations for plumbing in Balti-
more County has been superseded by House Bill 273 (Chapter
1003), passed and signed. All interested parties, both propo-
nents and opponents of House Bill 273, request the veto of
House Bill 197.

SENATE BILL 148.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
2A of Article 17 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943
Supplement), title "Clerks of Courts", sub-title "General
Duties of Clerks", providing that discharge papers of any
person who has served in the armed forces of the United
'States shall be recorded free of charge. z

proval because of its similarity to House Bill 134 (Chapter
164), which has already become a law.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-section
(g) of Section 32 of Article 39 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Fish and Fisheries", sub-
title "Further Regulations in County Waters", eliminating
Back River from the provisions of said sub-section.
