CHAPTER 236.
(Senate Bill 373)

AN ACT to repeal Section 293 of Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County, " sub-title "Hagerstown, " said
section relating to withdrawal of nomination.

WHEREAS, the provisions of this section have been super-
seded by later legislation; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 293 of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washington
County, " sub-title "Hagerstown, " be and it is hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

Approved March 16, 1945.

CHAPTER 237.

(Senate Bill 389)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 1065-1069, inclusive, of the
Montgomery County Code (1939 Edition—being Article
16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Montgomery County, " sub-title "Somerset, " said sec-
tions relating to tax sales in the town of Somerset, Mont-
gomery County.

WHEREAS, Chapter 761 of the Acts of 1943, enacting a
State-wide tax sale law, has superseded the provisions of
these sections; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 1065-1069, inclusive, of the Montgomery
County Code (1939 Edition—being Article 16 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery
County, " sub-title "Somerset, " be and they are hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

Approved March 16, 1945.
