advice on the legal aspects of legislation which has been
submitted for consideration; and ,.

WHEREAS, Due to the industry and willing efforts of the
Attorney General and his staff, the General Assembly has
been greatly assisted in conducting and completing the
work of the session in a more orderly and expeditious
manner than would otherwise have been possible; and

WHEREAS, It is fitting that the General Assembly should
express its appreciation for this cooperation; now therefore
be it

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
grateful thanks and appreciation of the members of the
General Assembly be and they are hereby extended to the
Honorable William C. Walsh, Attorney General, Hall Ham-
mond, Deputy Attorney General, and Messrs. T. Barton
Harrington, J. Edgar Harvey, and K. Thomas Everngam,
Assistant Attorneys General, for the most valuable and effi-
cient services rendered to the members of the General
Assembly in the preparation and advice on the legal as-
pects of legislation which has been considered at this ses-
sion; and

Be it further Resolved, That the Secretary of State be
and he is hereby directed to send copies of this Resolution
to the Attorney General and to the members of his staff.

Resolution authorizing the Board of Public Works to furnish
funds for the Home Services Department of the Maryland
Workshop for the Blind.

WHEREAS, the Maryland Workshop for the Blind is perform-
ing valuable assistance to the blinded persons of Maryland; and

WHEREAS, much of the work done by the Home, Services
Department of the Maryland Workshop for the Blind includ-
ing counselling, re-orientation, Braille, typing, handwork and
