sub-title "Cruelty to Animals, " be and it is hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

Approved March 16, 1945.

CHAPTER 222.
(Senate Bill 280)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 431 and 432 of Article 8 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Cecil County, " sub-title "Schools, " said
sections relating to the expenditure of certain funds for
school purposes.

WHEREAS, the state-wide school laws make the provisions
of these sections unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted 'by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 431 and 432 of Article 8 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title '"Cecil
County, " sub-title "Schools, " be and they are hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

Approved March 16, 1945.

CHAPTER 223.
(Senate Bill 337)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 37, 38 and 39 of Article 8 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Cecil County, " sub-title "Auctions, " said
Sections relating to the sale of certain goods and mer-
chandise by auction.

WHEREAS, these sections have been superseded by later
laws; therefore
