fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of
the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments and addi-
tions thereto, Sections 722 (as said section was amended by
Chapter 601 of the Acts of 1941) and 743 of Article 4 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, and the Baltimore
City Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-
title "Miscellaneous Local Laws", sub-heading "Justices of
the Peace and Constables", relating to the assignment and
certain duties of Justices of the Peace to the several station
houses in Baltimore City; providing that before any Jus-
tice of the Peace so assigned shall enter upon his duties ill
Baltimore City, he shall be required to give a bond to the
State of Maryland in the amount of Three Thousand Dol-
lars ($3, 000. 00), conditioned upon a faithful performance of
his duties and the rendering of a proper account of all fees,
fines, penalties and forfeitures collected by him, and to ac-
count for and pay over said moneys to the Collector of Balti-
more City, or to such other persons, firms and corporations
as may be entitled to receive the same; and further provid-
ing that said fees, fines, penalties and forfeitures shall be
accounted for and paid over each month.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 722 (as said section was amended by Chap-
ter 601 of the Acts of 1941) and 743 of the Public Local Laws
of Maryland and the Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition),
title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Miscellaneous Local Laws",
sub-heading "Justices of the Peace and Constables", be and
they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
722. It shall be the duty of the Governor, after the ap-
pointment of the Justices of the Peace provided for in Sec-
tion 712 of this said Article 4, to select from the Justices of
the Peace so appointed a Justice of the Peace to sit at each
station-house in the City of Baltimore, and in addition, two
justices, or such other number of justices as may be by law
