Procurement. The Chief of the Bureau of Revenue Esti-
mates shall act as Executive Secretary of the Board.
(b) The Bureau shall prepare an itemized statement
of the estimated revenue from all sources for the budget-
ary period next succeeding, to be submitted to the Board
of Revenue Estimates prior to each regular session of the
General Assembly. It shall also continuously study and
analyze various sources of revenue to determine the
amount of revenue actually produced and to devise and
recommend new methods and new sources for the more
efficient, equitable and economical production and collec-
tion of revenue. It shall also prepare annually an itemized
statement showing the revenue actually collected from all
sources during the preceding year and shall submit such
statement together with any recommendations to said
Board. The Bureau shall also supply said Board with such
statistics or other information as said Board may request.
(c) The Board of Revenue Estimates shall study the
information and recommendations supplied by the Bureau,
and shall prepare and submit to the Governor for sub-
mission to the General Assembly, an itemized statement
of the estimated revenue from all sources for the budgetary
period next succeeding and any recommendations the
Board may care to make.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
347 of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Corporations, " sub-title "Public
Service Commission, " relating to the term of office, duties
and compensation of the members of the Public Service
Commission, and the People's Counsel of said Commis-
sion.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 347 of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Corporations, " sub-title
"Public Service Commission, " be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
