by such a lower court, if no proceedings for review are
taken within the time allowed by law, and the decision of
the court has become final and effective.

CHAPTER 966.
(Senate Bill 418)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 57 of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County, "
sub-title "County Commissioners, " as said Section was
amended by Chapter 127 of the Acts of the Special
Session of 1936, providing for the payment of the ex-
penses of the County Commissioners of Worcester
County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 27 of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester
County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, " as said Sec-
tion was amended by Chapter 127 of the Acts of the
Special Session of 1936, be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

57. At the General Election to be held on the first
Tuesday after the first Monday in November, 1934, and
every fourth year thereafter, there shall be elected three
County Commissioners who shall be qualified voters of
said County and shall have resided at least two years in
said Worcester County immediately preceding their elec-
tion, and shall have been owners of and assessed with real
estate in said County for at least one year preceding their
said election; and for the purpose of selecting per-
sons eligible as said County Commissioners, the County
shall be considered as divided into three Commissioners
Districts, one of which shall consist of Pocomoke Election
District and Atkinsons' Election District; one of Snow
Hill District, Stockton District, Colbournes District and
Newark District, and one of East Berlin District, West
Berlin District and St. Martin's District, the same being
what were formerly known as the three collection districts
of said Worcester County; and one of said County Com-
missioners shall be a resident of each of said three Com-
missioner Districts, so that the Board of County Com-
