surety bond in such sum as the State Comptroller may pre-
scribe, with condition that he faithfully perform the duties
and account for all funds received under color of his posi-
tion as such Deputy Bank Commissioner or employee, the
cost thereof to be charged as an expense of the office.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That nothing in this
Act shall be construed to affect the status of the Deputy
'Bank Commissioner under Article 64A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (Flack's Edition).
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
96 of Article 52 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland (1939 edition) title "Justices of the Peace, "
sub-title "Trial Magistrates System, " to provide that in
Worcester County the County Commissioners shall pay
to the several incorporated municipalities of said county
all of the fines, penalties and forfeitures received by
them arising from the violation of the ordinances of
any of the said incorporated municipalities.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 96 of Article 52 of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland (1939 edition) title "Justices of the
Peace, " sub-title "Trial Magistrates System, " be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments
so as to read as follows:
96. (Costs). All justices of the peace shall charge the
fees and costs authorized by law to be imposed in civil and
criminal cases, but all such fees and costs, and all fines,
penalties and forfeitures imposed and collected by trial
magistrates, shall be paid to the County Commissioners
of their respective counties, except fines, penalties, for-
feitures and costs for violations of the Motor Vehicle Laws,
which shall be promptly remitted to the Commissioner of
Motor Vehicles, as now provided by law. All such fines,
