following causes: (1) conviction of the licensee for the viola-
tion of any of the provisions of this Article; (2) the willful
failure or refusal of any licensee to comply with any pro-
visions of this Article or any rule or regulation that may
be adopted in pursuance of this Article; (g) the making
of any material, false statement in any application for a
license; (4) two or more convictions of one or more of the
clerks, agents, employees and servants of a licensee under
the provisions of this Article of any violation on the licensed
premises, within a period of two years; (5) the possession upon
the premises of any retail dealer other than the holder of a
Class E, or Class F license of any alcoholic beverage upon
which the tax imposed by this Article has not been paid; (6)
the violation of the provisions of Section 38 of this Article;
(7) the willful failure of any licensee to keep the records re-
quired by this Article or to allow any inspections of such
records by a duly authorized person; (8) possession of any
alcoholic beverage which any licensee other than the holder of
a Class E or Class F license is not licensed to sell; (9) the
suspension or revocation of a permit issued to any licensee by
the Federal Alcohol Administration, or for conviction of vio-
lating any Federal laws relating to alcoholic beverages; and
(10) failure to furnish bond as required by this Article within
fifteen days after notice from the Comptroller.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 198.

(House Bill 55)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 19 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Comptroller", said
new section to be known as Section 20A, and to follow imme-
diately after Section 20 of said Article, providing that bonds
of all officers and employees of the State or of any agency of
the State shall be made to the State and, with the exception
of the bond of the Comptroller, filed with the Comptroller,
and providing that said bonds may be submitted to the State
Law Department for approval.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 19
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
