line to the Triangulation Station Wap. on the northern point
of Pawpaw Cove which area shall be reserved for the taking
and catching of oysters with tongs; all that area lying
within one fourth mile of the western shore of Poplar Island;
all that area within one half mile of Plum Point; all that area
within one and one half miles of Sandy Point, Hackett Point,
Tolly Point, and Thomas Point; all in Anne Arundel County;
and the following oyster bars: Holland Point, Three Sisters,
Parkers Rock (Bay Shore and Long), Flagpond, Swan Point,
Hickory Thicket, Entrance Lump, Whitemarsh, Gum Spring,
Huntingneld, Windmill Flats, Muddy Drain, and Lighthouse
Lump; all defined by the charts of the Oyster Survey of 1906 to
1912 on record in the office of the Department of Tidewater
Fisheries.

(i) Privileges of a Chesapeake Bay Dredging License—Sea-
sons. It shall be lawful to take or catch oysters by dredge be-
tween the first day of November and the fifteenth day of
March, next succeeding, both inclusive.

(j) Dredge on Unlicensed Boats. It shall be unlawful for
the owner or master, or any person on board any boat in this
State, to affix any crank, spool, winder or other equipment
for casting or hauling a dredge to any unlicensed boat, or to
have on board any boat any dredge, unless such boat be
licensed.

(k) Character of a Dredge Boat. It shall be unlawful to use
any power boat or vessel of any kind in the taking or catching
of oysters by dredge, and the captain or master of any dredge
boat shall not have on his boat any equipment or motor of
any kind, whether attached to said boat or not, which is
adapted to or can be used in the propulsion of said boat;
provided, however, that a separate boat may be used in towing,
pushing or pulling any dredge boat to or from an oyster bar
when such dredge boat is not engaged in taking or catching
oysters.

(1) Size and Nature of the Dredge. It shall be unlawful
for any person to use or employ in catching or taking oysters
in the waters of the State or to have in his possession any
scoop, dredge, scrape or similar instrument having a tooth bar
more than forty-two inches in length measuring from the out-
side teeth on dredges used in dredging on rock bottoms or
forty-four inches in length measuring from the outside teeth
on dredges used in dredging on mud bottoms, or of a weight
exceeding two hundred pounds. No "devil catcher", "devil
diver" or similar device shall be had in possession or used on
any dredge boat by any captain or any other person for the
purpose of being attached to the dredge for steering same to the
bottom.
