therefor, and to convey a good title to any such property
sold by him.

(E) That said town Treasurer shall make, at each regular
monthly meeting of said Commission, a monthly written report
to the Morningside Commission, which said report shall state,
in itemized form, all receipts and disbursements, of town
money coming into his hands, which monthly report shall be
signed and sworn to, as being a complete and accurate re-
port, by said town Treasurer before said Secretary Commis-
sioner.

(F) That the Morningside Commission shall examine such
monthly report of said town Treasurer and, within one month
after filing of the same by said town Treasurer, the said Com-
mission, at a regular or special meeting thereof shall, by reso-
lution entered in the minute books of said Commission, ap-
prove or disapprove of such report. Such monthly report shall
be filed among the town records, and the yea and nay vote of
each Commissioner on the resolution approving or disapprov-
ing any such monthly report of said town Treasurer and shall
be entered in the minute books of said Commission and the
adoption by said Commission by a resolution approving any
such monthly report of said town Treasurer shall be consid-
ered a certificate to the citizens of the Town of Morningside,
of each Commissioner so voting an approval of such monthly
report that, after careful examination of the matter, he con-
siders such monthly report, to be complete and accurate. Pro-
vided, however, that nothing contained in this Act shall in
any wise affect the liability to said town of said town Treas-
urer; and provided, further, that nothing contained in this
Act shall in any wise affect the liability of the surety or sure-
ties on the bonds of said town Treasurer,

(G) That in the event that said Commission, after careful
examination, shall adopt a resolution disapproving any such
monthly report of said town Treasurer, said Commission shall
within five days (including Sundays and holidays) notify
said town Treasurer of the fact of the adoption of such resolu-
tion disapproving such monthly report, and of the reason or
reasons for such disapproval, and call upon said town Treas-
urer to make another and accurate report or satisfactorily
explain to said Commission, such part or parts of such report
as shall have been disapproved by said Commission. Such
notice may be served upon said town Treasurer, either person-
ally by any of said Commissioners, or by posting a copy of the
same at the last regular meeting place of said Commission,
or by mailing a copy of same to the last residence or business
address given by said town Treasurer to said Commission.
