(C) That a copy of any such ordinance so levying such
taxes shall be open to public inspection.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted:

(A) That it shall be the duty of the town Treasurer of the
Town of Morningside to collect and receive all taxes and other
moneys due to said town, and to keep a record of each item.

(B) That said town Treasurer shall deposit all town funds
coming into his hands, together with all such interest accruing
thereon, in such depository or depositories as the Morningside
Commission may by resolution select, to the credit of the Town
of Morningside.

(C) That said town Treasurer shall not disburse or dispose
of any of the town funds coming into his hands as such town
Treasurer except upon check duly signed by him as the Morn-
ingside Treasurer and countersigned by the Chairman Com-
missioner, or by the Vice-Chairman Commissioner, pursuant
to a resolution of said Commission, which said resolution must
first be placed on the minute books of said Commission, and
attested by the Secretary Commissioner.

(D) Whenever the Commission shall levy a tax they shall
cause to be made an alphabetical list of the persons charged
therewith, and shall be affixed thereto the respective sums to
be collected from such persons and a warrant to the Treasurer
to collect the same.

The Treasurer shall, within ten days after receipt of such
list and warrant, render to such person named therein an
account or tax bill showing the amount due by him, if he be
a resident of the town, and if he be a non-resident, and in
consequence thereof cannot be conveniently served with said
account or tax bill, a copy of the same shall be left upon the
premises taxed.

All taxes levied by the Morningside Commission on real
estate shall be due on the first day of July next succeeding
their levy, and shall bear interest from that date. On such as
remain unpaid after the first day of November following, there
shall accrue, in addition to said interest, a penalty of one-half
of one per cent for each whole month that may elapse there-
after until paid, or a sale for default shall have been finally
ratified by the Court.

Taxes on personal property shall be collected as is now pro-
vided by law for the collection of such taxes due Prince
George's County.

The Treasurer of the Town of Morningside shall be the
collector of all taxes levied, and shall have full power to
enforce payment thereof as provided by Article 81 of the
