walks and gutters include the authority to reconstruct or
resurface.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Prince George's County", sub-title "Mt. Rainier",
sub-heading "Roads", said new section to be known as Section
792A, to follow immediately after Section 792 of said Article,
and to read as follows:

792A. The authority to construct roadways, alleys, curbs,
sidewalks and gutters as used in Sections 787 to 792, inclusive,
shall be deemed to include the authority to resurface or to
reconstruct such roadways, alleys, curbs, sidewalks and gutters
in the Town of Mt. Rainier, Maryland, when, where and in the
manner to be determined by the Mayor and Common Council.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,. Section
751 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Prince George's County", sub-
title "Mount Rainier", to change the corporate name.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 751 of Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince
George's County", sub-title "Mount Rainier", be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

751. The citizens of the town of Mount Rainier, in Prince
George's County, are hereby created a body corporate by the
name of "The Mayor and City Council of Mount Rainier", with
all the powers and privileges of a body corporate, and by said
corporate name may have perpetual succession, sue and be
sued, plead and be impleaded, in any Court of law or equity,
may have and use a common seal, may purchase and hold
