sions of this section shall be subject to confiscation. If the
accused is adjudged guilty, or when alcoholic beverages are
unclaimed for sixty days subsequent to date of confiscation,
such alcoholic beverages shall become the property of the
respective County or City wherein said alcoholic beverages
were confiscated, and shall after the time for appeal has
elapsed, be sold in accordance with the provisions of Sub-sec-
tion (c) of this section, and the proceeds from such sale shall
be credited to the General Fund Account of such respective
County or City. Except that any such alcoholic beverages con-
fiscated in Montgomery, Harford, Kent, Queen Anne's, Somer-
set, Wicomico and Worcester Counties shall become the prop-
erty of the Liquor Control Board for the respective counties
and shall be sold by the County Dispensaries in such counties;
and the proceeds from such sals shall be treated in the same
way as the proceeds from other sales made by such Dispen-
saries.

(g) Every person who shall violate any of the provisions
of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction thereof shall be subject to a fine of not more
than One Thousand Dollars ($1, 000. 00) or imprisonment for
not more than two years in the House of Correction or jail,
or both fine and imprisonment.

CLASSES OF PERMITS

2A. (a) (Non-Beverage Permit. ) A Non-Beverage Permit
shall authorize the holder thereof to purchase alcohol and
alcoholic beverages for use in compounding or manufacturing
flavoring extracts; medicinal, antiseptic or toilet preparations,
or for other similar purposes; for scientific or laboratory pur-
poses; for flavoring food products; or for sale by druggists or
apothecaries upon the written prescription of a qualified
physician. It shall be unlawful under such a permit to use,
sell or deliver alcoholic beverages for beverage purposes or to
use, sell or deliver any product produced with alcoholic bev-
erages which is fit for beverage purposes.

(b) (Change of Domicile Permit. ) Such a permit shall
authorize the holder thereof to transport into Maryland his
private stock of alcoholic beverages for personal consumption
only, when such permit holder is changing his domicile into
the State of Maryland.

(c) (Bulk Sale Permit. ) A person whose license has ex-
pired or otherwise has been discontinued, may within sixty
days subsequent to the last day the license was effective, apply
to the Comptroller for a permit to authorize sale of the stock
of alcoholic beverages on hand as of such day. Such a permit
shall authorize the sale, only to a license holder, which shall
be consummated within the ten-day period covered by such
