1. For the payment of rent of offices occupied by State
Departments, Boards and Commissions in Balti-
more City subject to the control of Board of Public
Works and upon the recommendation of the Direc-
tor of the Department of Budget and Procurement
as provided by Chapter 64 of the Acts of 1939...... $135,000.00 $135,000.00

The amount of $135,000.00 each year includes ap-
propriations to the State Department of Health
in the amount of $14,500.00, and to the State
Department of Public Welfare in the amount of
$10,736.88 for each of the fiscal years 1946 and
1947.

The following appropriations are made from the General Funds of the State:
1. General Emergency Fund: To the Board of Public
