025-2 ONE AND FOUR-TENTHS MILLS ($.0014) OF THE
TWO CENT (2c) GASOLINE TAX:

To the State Roads Commission, 100% of all the in-
come produced by deducting from the gross income
derived from the Two Cent (2c) Gasoline Tax, afteT
making refunds applicable thereto that yield at
the rate of one and four-tenths mills (.0014) of such
Two Cent (2c) Gasoline Tax. The proceeds from
this source' are to be set over to the use of the State
Roads Commission, and so much of the fund as may
be required, shall be expended by it for interest
and the annual payment of principal on Bond obli-
gations of the State Roads Commission as herein
provided. The remainder of the income is to
merge with the income produced by the Two Cent
(2e) Gasoline Tax and net Income from the Depart- .
ment of Motor Vehicles and Traffic Court; and 70%
of such amount so reverting, is to be expended by
the State Roads Commission for general mainte-
nance or reconstruction of the State System of
Roads. The remaining 30% of the above revenue is
to be paid by the1 Comptroller of the Treasury to
Baltimore City at the close of each fiscal year, and
is to be applied by Baltimore City in the same
manner as the City's proportionate share of 30%
of the Two Cent (2c) Gasoline Tax and Income
from Department of Motor Yehicles............... $399,498.94 $439,448.83

The estimated amount not required for Debt Service
and to merge and consolidate with the Two Cent
(2c) Gasoline Tax and Department of Motor Ve-
hicles Income, of which the' State Roads Commis-
sion's share, at 70%, shall be................... $279,649.26 $307,614.18

and of which Baltimore City's share, at 30%

shall be .................................... 119,849.68 131,834.65

Commission of Maryland Refunding and Improve-
ment Bonds, Issue of $9,000,000, authorized by
Chapter 884, of the' Acts of 1941................ None None

The Income from Truck License Fees and Franchise
Taxes, is sufficient -for the entire debt service re-
quirements, so that none of the dedicated fund of
one and four-tenths mills ($.0014) of the Two Cent
(2c) Gasoline Tax will be used.
