Owing to the uncertainty as to financial requirements for the Military Department for
the fiscal years 1946 and 1947, any unexpended part of the appropriation for the fiscal
year 1946 shall not revert to the Treasury, but shall be carried forward and become
available to the Military Department in the fiscal year 1947, upon approval by the Board
of Public Works, for such purposes of the Department as the said Board shall feel it
necessary for the needs of the State.

Special Funds appropriated to this department represent receipts from rental of arm-
ories. It is the intention that these funds shall be made available to the department by
budget amendment.
