entitled to one vote as such borrower, obligor or owner. Share-
holders, whether borrowers or not, shall be entitled to vote as
heretofore provided by law or the charter and by-laws of such
associations.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
take effect June 1st, 1945.

AN ACT to repeal Section 145 of Article 48 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Inspections", sub-
title "Eggs", and to enact in lieu thereof a new Section 145,
providing for the compulsory marking of eggs for size and
the compulsory markings of certain eggs for quality with al-
lowances for tolerance.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 145 of Article 48 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Inspections", sub-title "Eggs",
. be and it is hereby repealed and that a new Section 145 be and
it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to read as follows:
145. (a) No person shall sell or offer to sell, to the retailer
or consumer, any eggs not properly designated in respect to
size with such tolerances as are hereinafter allowed. Said
designation shall be plainly and conspicuously shown in con-
nection with said sale or offer for sale and may be shown on
the container or in the offer to sell or by a sign placed on or
near such eggs.
(b) The designation of size shall be one of the following:
"Extra Large", "Large", "Medium", "Small", or "Unclassified".
(1) The term "Extra Large" shall mean eggs weighing at
least twenty-six ounces per dozen or, when packed in thirty-
dozen cases, eggs weighing at least forty-eight and one-half
pounds per case; but no individual egg contained in such dozen
or thirty-dozen case shall weigh at the rate per dozen less
than twenty-five ounces.
(2) The term "Large" shall mean eggs weighing at least
twenty-four ounces per dozen or, when packed in thirty-dozen
cases, eggs weighing at least forty-five pounds per case; but no
individual egg contained in such dozen or thirty-dozen case
shall weigh at the rate per dozen less than twenty-three ounces.
