attorney-at-law, to act for and represent as legal adviser, the
Board of County Commissioners of Howard County, the Board
of School Commissioners of Howard County, the County Treas-
urer and Collector of Howard County, the County Surveyor
and Engineer of Howard County, the Board of Supervisors of
Election of Howard County and the Board of License Com-
missioners of Howard County, in all matters of legal nature
requiring the services of an attorney-at-law. The said attorney
shall advise said Boards or individuals by his opinion in all
legal matters referred to him by any of said Boards or indi-
viduals, and said attorney shall also appear in Court to prose-
cute or defend all suits brought by or against any of said
Boards or individuals acting in his, their or its official capacity.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 868.
(House Bill 638)
AN ACT to transfer the Two Thousand Dollars ($2, 000)
levied by Chapter 139 of the Acts of 1941 for a school build-
ing at Hutton, Garrett County, to the Oakland High School
New Building Fund.
WHEREAS, Chapter 139 of the Acts of 1941 provided for a
levy of Two Thousand Dollars ($2, 000) for anew school build-
ing at Hutton, Garrett County; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Education of Garrett County de-
cided not to build said building and the said Two Thousand
Dollars ($2, 000) is now in a special account of a former
County Treasurer; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Two. Thousand Dollars ($2, 000) levied by Chap-
ter 139 of the Acts of 1941 for a school building at Hutton
be and it is hereby transferred and shall be deposited with the
Oakland High School New Building Fund.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945,
