102 LAWS OF MARYLAND, [CH. 131

WHEREAS, Section 11 of Article 13 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1943 Supplement), makes Saturday a Legal
Half-Holiday throughout the State, thereby making this
section unnecessary; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 155 of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel
County, " sub-title "Bills of Exchange and Promissory
Notes, " be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

Approved February 28, 1945.

CHAPTER 130.
(Senate Bill 167)

AN ACT to repeal Section 215 of Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, (1930 Edition), title
"Anne Arundel County, " sub-title "County Commission-
ers, " relating to claims for fees of Justices of the Peace.

WHEREAS, since the creation of the Trial Magistrates
System the provisions of this Section are not applicable;
therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 215 of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel
County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, " be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945. -
