and shall be authorised to sell or otherwise dispose
of said bonds on such terms as said board of direc-
tors may deem expedient.

May connect
with other
roads.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That said company
shall have the right to connect with any other road
or railway, which is now constructed or may here-
after be constructed, and adjoin said Hillen road at
any point or location on said road or railway, be-
tween the limits of the city of Baltimore and Tow-
sontown.

Vested rights
|
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That said company
shall make and have a common seal, with power to
alter and renew the same at pleasure, and also to
ordain, establish and put in execution, such by-
laws, ordinances, and regulations as shall appear
necessary or convenient for the government of said
corporation, and not contrary to the Constitution
and laws of the United States, or the State of Mary-
land, and generally to do all and singular, such
matters and things as may be lawful and neces-
sary for the well being of said corporation and the
due ordering and managing of the affairs thereof.

original act
affirmed.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That said Hillen road
company of Baltimore county shall suffer no disad-
vantage or diminution of the rights, powers and
privileges granted to it as a corporation by the act
to which this is a supplement, by reason of lapse
of time, inability to progress with said road, as
rapidly as contemplated by said original act, ir-
regularity in holding elections for officers, or other
like causes, but the rights, privileges and franchise
granted and created by the act, to which this is a
supplement, are hereby affirmed and confirmed;

Provisos.
|
Provided, the said company shall make and con-
struct the road or roads, authorised to be construct-
ed by said original act, and this supplement, with-
in the period of twenty years from the passage
hereof; and provided, said corporation shall fully
pay and satisfy all its creditors within six months
from the passage of this act, and every amount
which may be due and demanded for labor and ma-
terial heretofore furnished to said corporation.
