AN ACT, appropriating a sum of money for the
payment of the claims of Magruder and Brother,
Joseph H. Skinner and George E. Franklin.

Appropria-
tions.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the sum of one hundred and fif-
teen dollars and sixty-eight cents, he and the same
is hereby appropriated for the payment of the fol-
lowing claims against the State of Maryland, viz:
for the payment of Magruder and Brother, for ar-
ticles furnished for the use of the Senate Chamber
and Committee Rooms, by order of C. Howard,
Secretary to the Senate, for the payment of Joseph
H. Skinner, for articles furnished the two Houses
of the Legislature, for the payment of George E.
Franklin, for articles furnished for the burial of
General Wilmot, by order of the House of Dele-
gates, at its last session.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer of
the State shall, upon the warrant of the Comptrol-
ler, pay to the following persons, to Magruder and
and Brother the sum of eighty-eight dollars and
twenty-five cents, to Joseph H. Skinner, fifteen
dollars and eighty-three cents, to George E. Frank-
lin, eleven dollars and sixty cents.

SEC. 3. And fie it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

SUPPLEMENT to an act to incorporate the Hil-
len Road Company of Baltimore county, passed
at January session, one thousand eight hundred
and fifty-four, chapter ninety-nine.
|
|
|
Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, by experience, it has been ascertained
that the Hillen Road, authorised to be construct-
ed by the act to which this is a supplement, can-
not be made and completed, as contemplated by
said act, without the aid of additional legislation.
