TITLES OF THE LAWS.

1. An act entitled, an act adopting the Code reported
under the 17th section of the 3d article of the Constitution.

2. An act entitled, an act to make valid the bond of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Howard county.

3. An act entitled, an act to make valid the qualification
of Levi Rice, one of the commissioners elected at the late elec-
tion in Allegany county.

4. An act entitled, an act to authorize the commissioners
of Montgomery county to levy the sum of eighty-eight dollars
and sixty-five cents, for the use of George P. Atwood,

5. An act to compensate Charles W. Webster for profes-
sional services rendered, under appointment of the Governor,
in the Court of Appeals, in the case of Josiah Parrish vs. The
State of Maryland.

4th article of the Code of Public Local Laws, which gives to
the Mayor of the city of Baltimore, and the Judge of the
Criminal Court of Baltimore, and the Judge of the Superior
Court of Baltimore, the power to order out the militia.

Code of Public Local Laws, by amending the 33d section of
said article, relating to the police and general powers of the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, and repealing the
774th, 775th, 776th, and 777th sections of said article, rela-
