BOARD OF POLICE—

and all arms, &c., so seized, shall

Nothing herein to be construed to de-

prive the said, of any police powers,
or relieve them from obligations im-

posed by other sections relating to

out order of judges, or themselves

take control and command, and as-

sume the conduct of measures neces-

of the elective franchise,

The provisions of the preceding sec-

tions to apply to all elections here-

after to be held in Baltimore city,

whether federal, state or municipal,

and no election in said city to be

valid unless so held,

Except because of any failure of the

said, or the said judges to make the

advertisements hereinbefore requir-

ed, or because of disqualification of

any judge or member of said board,

but any wilful neglect to make said

advertisements, or to appoint prop-

er persons as judges, shall be deemed

a misdemeanor, and punished in the

discretion of the court having juris-

diction,
