hundred dollars; for the salary of the Comptrol-
ler of the Treasury, twenty-five hundred dollars;
for the salary of the Treasurer of Maryland, twen-
ty-five hundred dollars; for the salaries of the
Clerks to the Comptroller, nineteen hundred dol-
lars; for the salary of the Clerk to the Treasurer
of Maryland, twelve hundred dollars; for the
salary of the State Agricultural Chemist, two
thousand dollars; for the salary of the Keeper of
Chancery Records, one thousand dollars; for the
salary of the State Librarian, one thousand dollars;
to William Harwood, for services as State Librarian
in eighteen hundred and fifty-six and eighteen hun-
dred and fifty-seven, eighteen hundred and fifty
dollars, or so much thereof as the Comptroller
may ascertain to be due; for salaries of the Com-
missioners of Public Works, two hundred dollars
each, eight hundred dollars; for salary of the
Commissioner of the Land Office, two hundred dol-
lars; for compensation to Commissioner of the
Land Office, per chapter twenty-three, of eighteen
hundred and forty-one, fifty dollars; for the sala-
ry of the Chief Clerk in each of the State Tobac-
co Warehouses, the sum of three hundred dollars;
for the salary of the receiving clerks, two hun-
dred dollars; for the salary of the shipping clerks,
two hundred dollars.

For the salaries of the Judges of Court of Ap-
peals, twenty-five hundred dollars each, ten thou-
sand dollars; for the per diem of the Sheriff and
Messenger of the Court of Appeals, fifteen hun-
dred dollars; for salary of the Reporter to the
Court of Appeals, five hundred dollars; for State's
subscription to two hundred copies of two volumes
of the reports of decisions of the Court of Appeals,
two thousand dollars; for the salary of the Judge
of the first Judicial Circuit, two thousand dollars;
for the salary of the Judge of the second Judicial
Circuit, two thousand dollars; for the salary of the
Judge of the third Judicial Circuit, two thousand
dollars: for the salary of the Judge of the fourth
Judicial Circuit, two thousand dollars; for the
salary of the Judge of the Circuit Court of Balti-
more city, twenty-five hundred dollars; for the
salary of the Judge of the sixth Judicial Circuit,
two thousand dollars; for the salary of the Judge
of the seventh Judicial Circuit, two thousand dol-
lars; for the salary of the Judge of the eighth Ju-
