AN ACT entitled, An act to authorise the Comp-
troller to adjust and settle the accounts of the
Inspectors of Grain in the city of Baltimore.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury
be, and he is hereby authorised and required to ad-
just and settle the accounts of the inspectors of grain
in the city of Baltimore, in accordance with the
provisions of the grain law as laid down in the Code,
and to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer for
such sum or sums as he shall find to be due said
inspectors; Provided, he shall not allow more than
the amount paid into the Treasury by the said in-
spectors.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

AN ACT entitled, An act to repeal sections one,
two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten,
eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen,
seventeen, eighteen, nineteen and twenty of ar-
ticle nineteen of the General Public Laws, and
substitute the following sections therefor:

Repealed.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sections one, two, three, four, five, six,
seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen,
fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nine-
teen and twenty be, and the same are hereby re-
pealed, and the following sections substituted there-
for:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the corporate existence of the
Maryland State Colonization Society is hereby con-
tinued, and that all its immunities, privileges and
franchises as fully secured to the same as they now
