AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and fifty-
two, one hundred and fifty-four, one hundred
and fifty-five and one hundred and fifty-six, of
article twenty-two, of the Public Local Law, re-
lating to Worcester county, and substituting
therefor sections defining the duties and regu-
lating the pay of the Wreckmaster of Worcester
county and his employees.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections one hundred and fifty-
two, one hundred and fifty-four, one hundred and
fifty-five and one hundred and fifty-six, of article
twenty-two, of the Public Local Law, relating to
Worcester county, be and the same are hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 2. That the wreckmaster for Worcester
county, shall hereafter be entitled to receive twen-
ty-five dollars for the first day he shall go to or
take charge of a wreck and ten dollars per day for
every day thereafter that his services are required
or that he may be employed or engaged in saving
or attempting to save the vessel or cargo.

SEC. 3. That all others who shall assist in pre-
serving any ship or other vessel in distress, when
employed or summoned by the wreckmaster, for
such service shall be paid two dollars for each day
he shall be engaged.

ties of Silas Browning, late sheriff of Mont-
