AN ACT to add an additional section to article
fifty-four of the Code of Public General Laws,
relating to the State Librarian.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the following section be added to the
Code of Public General Laws:

section.

|
SEC. 1. That the Librarian, be and he is hereby
authorised and required to pay to his assistant in
the State Library for his services, out of the Library
Contingent Fund, the sum of fifty dollars per
month.

SEC. 2. That this act shall take effect from the
first day of January, eighteen hundred and sixty.

AN ACT to amend the Code of Public Local
Laws, article twenty-two, relating to Elections.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That hereafter the place of holding
the election in the seventh election district of Wor-
cester county, shall be at Harry Butler's house, at
Atkinson's Mills.
