At a Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, begun and
held at the City of Annapolis, on the first Wednesday of
January, being the fourth day of said month, in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty, and ended
the tenth day of March of said year—His Excellency, THOMAS
HOLLIDAY HICKS, Governor—the following LAWS were enacted,
to wit:

CHAPTER 1.
AN ACT adopting the Code reported under the.
Seventeenth Section of the Third Article of the
Constitution.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the two volumes of Revised
Laws, reported by Otho Scott and Hiram McCul-
lough, that is to say, the first volume containing
the Public General Laws, and the second volume
containing the Public Local Laws, be and the same
are hereby adopted, in lieu of and as a substitute
