AN ACT to amend the seventh section of article
ninety-three of the Code of Public General Laws
relating to the appointment by the Treasurer,
of clerks to assist in the discharge of his duties.
|
|
|
Salary.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the seventh section of article
ninety-three of the Code of Public General Laws
relating to the appointment by the Treasurer,, of
clerks to assist him in the discharge of his duties,
be and the same is hereby repealed, and the follow-
ing enacted as a substitute therefor: That the
Treasurer of Maryland shall appoint a clerk to
assist in the discharge of his duties, who shall re-
ceive an annual salary of twelve hundred dollars.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
