tailed statement of the condition and affairs of
this company, which shall be by the board of di-
rectors submitted to the examination of a commit-
tee of such number of persons, members of the
company or otherwise as they may appoint for that
purpose, and the report of said committee shall
be annually published and distributed among the
members of the said company in such form as the
said board of directors may prescribe.

CHAP. 171.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the said board of
directors shall have full power and authority to
rescind or revoke any policy of insurance by them
issued whenever they shall deem it for the interest
of said company so to do.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the sixth,
seventh, eighth and twelfth sections of the origi-
nal act to which this amendatory act is a supple-
ment, be and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That before this act
shall go into full effect it shall be accepted by the
members of the said company or a majority of
them present at any meeting held for the purpose,
after notice has been given by the president or
secretary, published in some newspaper in Balti-
more, Carroll and Frederick counties and the city
of Baltimore.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this act shall go
into effect upon the passage thereof, subject never-
theless to the approval of the members provided for
in the preceding section.
