CHAPTER 150.

CHAP. 151.

AN ACT to amend the thirty-fifth section of the
twenty-second article of the Code of Public Lo-
cal Laws, by increasing the pay of the County
Commissioners of Worcester county.

2, 1860.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the county commissioners of
Worcester county, shall each he entitled to receive
two dollars and a half per day for each day he
may necessarily attend to the duties of his office,
and six and a quarter cents, for every mile he may
have to travel to the place of meeting, but no com-
missioners shall be allowed milage after the first
days attendance, when they shall adjourn from
day to day.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the thirty-fifth
section of the twenty-second article of the Code of
Public Local Laws, fixing the pay of said county
commissioners, be and the same is hereby repealed,

and that this act shall take effect from the day of
its passage.

CHAPTER 151.

In force.

AN ACT to confirm the charter of Saint Anthony's
Orphan Asylum in Baltimore city, incorporated
on the tenth day of April, eighteen hundred and
fifty-eight, under the General Laws of Mary-
land, and to enlarge the powers of said Cor-
poration.

2, 1860.

WHEREAS, Saint Anthony's Orphan Asylum in
Baltimore city, was incorporated under the direc-
tion of the Superior court of Baltimore city, and
by authority of the act of eighteen hundred and
fifty-two, chapter two hundred and thirty-one, on
the tenth day of April, eighteen hundred and fifty-
two, as by a copy of the said charter recorded in
the office of the clerk of said court, in Liber G. E.
