Local Laws, which authorises the levy of a tax for
the support of public schools in Harford county, and
one hundred and eighth, which authorises the ex-
ecutive board of school commissioners to procure
school houses and lots for the use of public schools

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That a company shall be incorporated
to make a turnpike road from Conowingo to Belair
in Harford county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That subscription
books shall be opened on the first Monday in May
next in Harford county and the city of Baltimore,
for a capital stock of said company of forty thousand
dollars, in two thousand shares, of twenty dollars
each, under the direction of the following commis-
sioners or any one of them, namely, in Harford
