L. Pattison, of Dorchester county, to erect and keep
a gate on the public road now located and passing
through the farm on which he now resides, upon
the express conditions, following: the said Jeremiah
L. Pattison, have such gate hung on good and suf-
ficient iron hinges and shall keep the same in good
order and repair.
|
CHAP. 73.
|

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any person or
persons after the passage of this act, shall cut
down, destroy, wilfully leave open, or remove said
gate, they shall upon conviction thereof before a
justice the peace, forfeit and pay to the owner of
such gate a sum not less than one nor exceeding
ten dollars for every offence, to be recovered as
small debts are out of court.

Protection.

AN ACT to add the following section to article
second of the Code of Public Local Law, fixing
the compensation of jurors of Howard county.
|

17, 1860.
|

SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the pay of each juror of Howard
county, shall be two dollars for every day he shall
attend as such juror.
|

|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
|
