To the Cleric of the Court of Appeals:
I, BERTRAM L. BOONE, II., SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE
OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
edition) DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at an election held in the
Town of Princess Anne, Somerset County, Maryland, an Act
known as Chapter 445 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
1949, was submitted to the voters of the Town of Princess
Anne, for their adoption or rejection, under the provisions
of the said Act. The said Act being:
An Act providing for a two-year term of office for
Town Commissioners.
AND I DO CERTIFY, That 158 votes were cast in favor of
a two-year term of office for the Town Commissioners of
Princess Anne, as provided for by Chapter 445 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of 1949, and 27 votes were cast against
the two year term of office, a majority of the votes being cast
in favor of the two year term, it has therefore been ratified
by the voters of the Town of Princess Anne.
